DESCRIPTION:Rags to Riches: The Scrap Quilt\n\nWe will explore choosing colors more instinctively, rather than following a bunch of “rules.”  Learn about Values and Contrast and how to arrange your fabrics by Value (light to dark), then make a one-of-a-kind small quilt or wall hanging.  It all starts with a fabric swap at the beginning of the workshop that forces you to use fabrics and colors you would normally not use.  But the results are stunning, and you will be pleasantly surprised at the outcome.\nAbout 40″ square.\nFull-Day Workshop, 9:00 a.m. — 3:30 p.m. at Ivy Creek Methodist Church.\nSome cutting of fabric is required before class.  You will need a sewing machine and general sewing supplies. Full supplies list will be provided to class registrants beforehand.  Sewing machine set-up starting at 8:30 a.m. with the workshop to begin at 9:00 a.m.\nMaximum of 25 people.\nConfident beginner and up.\nRegistration is $30.00.  You will prompted to pay online using Square when you register.\n
