Ice Dyeing Mini-workshop with Vicki Kirby

Spend an afternoon in the Virginia countryside creating stunning fabrics using the Ice Dye Method.  Ice dyeing is a novel take on tie-dye, with melting ice and gravity directing dye crystals in intricate patterns onto the fabric.   We will learn the technique and share company and conversation while the magic happens as the ice melts.  Bring a lunch to eat while the fabric pre-soaks in the soda ash prior to dyeing.  There is a fee of $10 to cover the cost of supplies (to be collected on the day of the workshop). This mini-workshop is limited to 12 people.
