Spring Fest

This year’s Spring Fest, hosted by Grateful Threads, will be held on Saturday, April 18th at Ivy Creek Methodist Church. 674 Woodlands Rd. Charlottesville, VA 22901. Wear your personal name tag to get an extra ticket for the door prize drawings.

Our speaker will be Ann Neumark along with her ally Annmarie Schare. Ann will present her sewing experiences at a trunk show, showcasing how she embellishes, repurposes, and transforms everyday clothing into unique, striking pieces. She’ll discuss various techniques for personalizing any garment with special machine stitches, lace, buttons, and more.

9:30am-10:00am: Continental Breakfast and social time
10:00am-11:00am: Business Meeting
11:00am-12:00pm: Guest Speaker: Ann Neumark Discussion and Trunk Show
12:00pm-12:15: Raffle and Door Prize Drawings
12:15pm-1:00pm: Lunch – on your own. There is a refrigerator on site that can be used. Please clearly label your item.
1:00pm-2:00: Show and Tell
